Try out days
Prova på dagar / Try out days. - During week 5, students may visit the IB programme. These half-day sessions will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
If you are a student outside the kommun then please mail our SYV directly, katedralsyv@utb.linkoping.se to book a place for your visit.
Entrance test
The Entrance Tests will take place in week 11, on Monday the 9th of March at 0830
We will send out invitations by email to those who have applied to us as choice # 1, 2 or 3. As well as those who have contacted the school directly.
Invitations will be sent to the email addresses provided by students when they applied and to parents and guardians, where email addresses are available.
There are two tests, English, and Mathematics. Each is around 2 hours long. A good result in English is, of course, important. We expect our students to be able to read and write English with a degree of fluency.
Mathematical skills are also assessed and we base the content of our test on the Swedish year 9 Maths syllabus, including, but not limited to the four operations, percentages, fractions, algebra, and general problem-solving.
If you applied from outside Östergötland
Those who have applied to us from outside Östergötland should contact us directly, (katedralexp@utb.linkoping.se) so we can ensure you have a place at the test.
Unfortunately there is sometimes a delay in handling applications from outside of Östergötland because our kommun applications department, (gymnasieantagning) often receives this information quite late from other municipalities.
Contact us if you have not heard anything by the beginning of week 10 and we will make sure there is a place for you at our Entrance Tests.
